Tiny ice crystals intricately decorate a pine branch in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Details: These delicate ice crystals were left behind after a winter fog. The trees were covered in a beautiful coating of white, but I had to work quickly before the sun began to melt them. A telephoto lens and wide open aperture captured the needles perfectly while leaving the background soft and surreal.
