A massive Saturn V rocket points longingly toward a deep blue sky.
Details: the Saturn V, the rocket that sent the astronauts to the moon, was the largest rocket ever launched, and it stands more than 300 feet tall. This image was taken at the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, the only place in the world where you can see an upright Saturn V. I needed a very wide angle lens (11mm) to get the whole rocket in this shot, and I love the way the wide angle makes it seem to tower over everything like it does when you’re standing there.
