Frothy white ghosts of recent waves glow pink under a sunset sky near California’s Sunset Cliffs.
Details: Just after sundown is a great time for long-exposure photography. This scene was created by capturing a crashing wave over a 6-second exposure. The rocks appear solid, but the water’s movements leave only the ghost-like trails of the wave’s white foam as it hits and recedes. I love taking pictures on the coast!
